Nervous, nervous, excited, nervous...
So today I'm gonna be cookin' up a simple something for my new guy... And, uhm... spending the night. *blushblush* I can't stop grinning no matter how hard I try. DX
Uhm... yeah. SO. In other news, I have yet to start to rewrite the first chapter of my story, though my OTHER story has been bugging me like crazy. The girl wants to jump the boy constantly, and I've realized that it's an incredibly abusive relationship. I kinda worry about that, 'cause Asavare really does have good intentions. She just believes she knows what Valmir wants and needs. And what he wants and needs are always what SHE desires.
Instance: Asavare would very much like to travel the dangerous road! Because dangerous roads builds character and that's what they need. But Valmir has a hurt ankle and can't travel. But it is no matter! Valmir, you want to build character, so going down the dangerous road is simply the best option! Alright? Alright. To the dangerous road!
And poor Valmir is looking a bit forlorn and when he falls and the hurt ankle becomes a broken ankle, Asavare would scold him and reprimand him and tell him that he should be more careful next time! So on and so forth...
OH. And I've finally figured out the power thing behind the black eye/hair tid-bits! Makes writing a lot easier and I'm wondering why in the hell I have to constantly switch between the two books. KEEP with one, geez!
Regardless, I've managed to find two books that I really loved when I was a teenager. It's like this, Cat and The Cat Ate my Gymsuit. Both take place, what, sixties? Fifties? Somewhere around there, but I find myself completely smitted with the characterzations. All I need now is this third book. I can't remember the author nor can I remember the title (doesn't THAT sound familiar, random? XD) but I can remember how it starts, the basic plot, and the totally bad ass ending that I fell in love with... Half Price Books had turned up nothing so when I get my nice paycheck and manage to stow away ten bucks for myself, I'm gonna go book hunting. I really, really want it.
